 Golf Course Maintenance Update
The River Course golf course will close in November to undergo overseeding. During the closing period, November 3 through November 6, our maintenance team will verticut the grass in two directions in order to get good seed to soil contact.

After seven days the seed will start to rise in the low, wet areas first. During this time we will be watering the fairways and tees more than normal to help in the germinating process. After 14 days we will start to mow at ¾ of an inch and continue to mow at this height for the next 60 to 90 days based on the weather and maturity of the plant. As the plant matures, the tillers will come out and begin to cover up the dormant Bermuda grass. At this time, we will then lower the height to ½ of an inch. This process will allow us to ensure we have great spring conditions.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

It's All About Thanks, Turkeys, and Tennis!
As the fall season approaches, it’s time to begin making plans for the Thanksgiving holiday at the Club. For many Members, spending the holiday week on Kiawah with family and friends has become a tradition and the Club is here to assist you in your planning.
