 Overview
GoKiawah provides programming for the Club’s youngest Members year-round. The GoKids programming is offered to toddlers, juniors, and teens for ten weeks during the summer.

Kid Zone
Is it a playdate for children or a date night for parents? Thanks to some masterful planning, Kid Zone is both. On Friday evenings during the month of June, and Friday and Saturday evenings in July and August. The Sports Pavilion will host kids for four hours of engaging activities and feature a local food truck for dinner.

Day Camps
An exciting summer tradition returns in 2015 with day camp programming at The Kiawah Island Club. Sports- and Adventure-themed day camps are designed for children ages 5 to 12 years old. Within this age range, children will be divided into groups to ensure participation in activities with similar skill level and ability. Drop off is located at the River Course bag drop on Mondays and Wednesdays for Sports Camp; and at the Cassique tent pad on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Adventure Camp from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. The first activity begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided throughout the day. Pick-up at 3:00 p.m. daily.

Teens
Kiawah Island Club teens can participate in regularly scheduled activities or take advantage of the Island's natural offerings at their leisure. Golf and tennis programs for all levels run weekly throughout the summer as well as surfing lessons and paddling adventures.

Toddlers

Whether your three to five year old likes golf, swimming, or tennis, the Club's offerings can spark an interest in any child! Parents are always invited to watch the fun.

Junior Excursions
This summer we invite you to venture off-island and explore what Charleston and its surrounding areas have to offer. These excursions are designed for both our younger Members (ages 5 to 12) and/or families to enjoy together. Destinations and cost vary from week to week. All activities depart from the Sports Pavilion.
 River Course Renovation Update
As June quickly approaches, we are preparing to start the first parts of the River Course renovation. The first step in the process will begin on Wednesday, May 27, with the application of a Round-Up and Fusilade mixture. The maintenance team will spray this on the tees and fairways, which will begin to kill the current grass surface in preparation for the new grass. They will cut the sod on the collars later this summer in order to remove the grass around the greens and protect the putting surface from any chemicals.
 S&F Summary
 Summer Golf Course Reminders
The River Course will close for renovation on Tuesday, June 16 and reopen on Tuesday, September 29. During this time, Cassique will be open seven days a week and the practice tee at River Course will remain open during the renovation. Please click here to find the daily golf hours of operation.

During these months, arrangements have been made for Golf and Sports Members to play Osprey Point, Turtle Point and Cougar Point for a reduced rate that includes cart fees. Golf Members will pay $55.00 and Sports Members will pay $105.00. Reservations to play these courses must be made through the River Course Golf Shop and are available up to six days in advance. Guests of Members will be charged the standard Resort rate and all charges will go on the Member’s Club account. As an additional option, the Club has been able to obtain a select number of rounds throughout the summer at the Seabrook Island Club. Please call the River Course Golf Shop to find out more information at 843.768.5715.
